Reddit video

Download Reddit videos

Paste a Reddit post link and pick a quality. Files stream straight from Reddit's CDN to your browser — nothing is stored here.

Try it with an example:

How it works

1

Copy the Reddit link

On the post, tap Share → Copy link, or copy the address bar of the post on reddit.com.

2

Paste and resolve

Paste it above and press Find video. The title, the author, the subreddit and every rendition are listed.

3

Save video and sound

Pick a video quality. Reddit keeps the sound in a separate file, so the audio track is listed as a second download.

Frequently asked questions

How do I download a Reddit video?

Open the post, copy its link (Share → Copy link in the app), paste it into the field above and press Find video. Every resolution Reddit publishes for that post is listed — click one and the MP4 is saved.

Why is the video file silent?

Reddit stores the picture and the sound as two separate files: the video rendition carries no audio track at all. The sound is listed on its own row marked M4A, so you can download it as well and merge both, or watch the video muted.

Do you store the videos on your server?

No. Resolving only reads public post metadata, and every file streams from Reddit's CDN straight to your browser. Nothing is stored, re-encoded or re-hosted.

Can I download private or age-gated posts?

No. Only public posts can be resolved. Posts in private subreddits, removed posts and posts behind an age or login wall cannot be read, and this tool does not bypass that.
