Frequently asked questions

How do I download a Pinterest video?

Open the pin, copy its link (Share → Copy link in the app), paste it into the field above and press Download. Every video quality Pinterest publishes for that pin is listed — click one and the MP4 is saved.

Which quality do I get?

Pinterest publishes one progressive MP4 per video: 720p for most pins, and 540p or less when the original upload was smaller. The file is never upscaled or re-encoded, so its size matches the source.

Do you store the videos?

No. Downloads are streamed through our resolver straight from Pinterest's CDN to your browser and are never written to disk. Nothing is stored, re-encoded or re-hosted.

Can I download private pins?

No. Only public pins can be resolved; secret boards and private pins are unreachable. Idea pins (the multi-page story pins) work too, one video at a time.
